GENERAL PURPOSE
Provide administrative support to the Conflicts Analysts, Conflict Attorneys, Intake Manager, and Department Management. Assist members of Professional Standards in processing and completing conflict checks, engagement and consent letters, information requests, and documents regarding firm legal matters.
This position is remote and operates on a Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM PST schedule.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
These essential functions are primary job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation.
- Communicate with Conflicts Attorneys, firm attorneys, and staff on status of inquiries and assist with resolution of conflicts issues. Process hard copy or electronic documents and database changes necessary for resolution of conflicts of interest.
- Draft basic engagement and consent letters. Review engagement letters.
- Prepare conflicts searches for Conflicts Attorney review, including creation of complex database reports/spreadsheets as required by project specifications.
- Perform research regarding corporate affiliations.
- Review database entries for quality and resolve discrepancies. Enter and edit client/matter records in conflicts database.
- Monitor and distribute information requests, including telephone and email inquiries for the Conflicts Group.
- Project coordination and follow-up. Other duties as assigned by Intake Manager or Department Management.
- Be present at work during regularly scheduled working hours and as needed in the job position, consistent with the Firm’s attendance expectations.
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
- Efficient data processing in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Outstanding oral and written communications skills (critical).
- Ability to work as part of a team in a support role and handle multiple projects simultaneously (critical).
- Flexibility and the ability to handle difficult and confidential situations in a professional manner.
- Ability to take initiative and complete projects in a professional manner with minimal supervision.
SPECIFIC SKILLS PREFERRED
Experience with Microsoft Access, Word, Outlook, Excel, and reporting tools.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one to three years of relevant administrative assistant experience, or equivalent.

$50,390 to $72,760

New York compensation range:
$58,470 to $84,430

Washington State compensation range:
$53,150 to $76,750
annually
Los Angeles compensation range: $58,680 to $84,730
annually
San Diego compensation range: $57,930 to $83,660
annually
