Allspring Global Investments Marketing and Communications Team is seeking a Content Writer to work closely with our investment and distribution teams and other key stakeholders to generate unique and insightful thought leadership for the firm. This person will cover asset class writing, key themes, sustainability, retirement and other areas of focus.

Responsibilities

• Writing, editing, and producing content related to investment teams, ley themes, sustainability, retirement and firm-wide initiatives
• Demonstrating outstanding communication, flexibility, and teamwork across the team and Allspring Global Investments as a whole.
• Be a resource on industry intelligence/trends; including publications, investment consultant research, management consulting research, etc.
• Providing ideas and insight to aid successful product positioning, marketing strategy and development of competitive landscape for Allspring Global Investments products.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and with a quick turnaround, offering advice pro-actively and remaining focused in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Demonstrating sound decision making and strategic thinking which reflects an understanding and interest in the asset management business and our priorities
• Ensure content is written with the appropriate firm and audience channel in mind
• Perform writing across multiple mediums: written pieces, blogs, podcasts, videos, websites, email, etc.

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of communications/writing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
• Previous experience creating/developing/editing content.

Desired Qualifications

• 5+ year’s relevant marketing/financial services/asset management industry experience.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Strong project management skills
• Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of writing, editing, coordinating, and publishing internal and external communications

Base Pay Range: $90K-$121k

Salary Range is for NYC and California Candidates only. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans).
