Contractor Liaison
LaFata Contract Services (LCS), an Anser Advisory Company, has been providing Project and Construction Management support in the electric and gas utility industries for over 20 years. Our Program, Project, and Construction Managers, Engineers, and Utility Support Personnel provide oversight, work activity coordination, and technical support to deliver utility projects in Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC.

Summary:
The Contractor Liaison is responsible for supporting the contractor communication responsibilities for the 2022 and 2023 GAMS (Gas Along the Main Service) jobs and installations. This individual will process all service requests for new residential/commercial construction, upgrades, demolitions, etc.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process and schedule service installations for both gas and electric, via builder requests.
- Initiate and monitor installation requests in CIMS and Passport.
- Prepare and track gas service and street light contracts.
- Provide support for Design and Construction Consultants.
- Provide a single point of contact for builders and customers for new residential/commercial construction, upgrades, demolitions, etc.
- Maintain all project files.
· Process, duplicate, and distribute Work Order Packages for Field Construction Work.
· May require working extended hours and/or shift work to support business operations.
· Prepare and analyze detailed weekly/monthly standard and non-standard reports.
· Develop, organize, and present detailed performance reports for both internal and external use.
· Provide analytical and operational support to the business unit.
· Process incoming payments.
· Send out daily RAM reports for call and appointment list.
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Experience:
· 3 years of experience working within a regulated utility is preferred.
- Experience supporting billing.
· Familiar with a variety of the field concepts, practices, and procedures.
· Must be able to self-manage and work well in a changing environment.
· Customer driven with good oral and written communications skills and general analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to analyze organizational data and problems, interpret and recommend alternative courses of action, and implement intervention strategies to attain performance targets.
Technical Skills:
· Proficient user of Word, Excel, Access, MS Teams, and Outlook. Ability to filter data, search sheets, and input formulas to create working sheets.
· Must be proficient in MS Excel (Pivot tables and V-lookups) at a minimum.

· Ability to work in a team environment with good listening and communications skills
· Highly organized and detail oriented
· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
· Superior time management skills; must be able to meet strict deadlines

Physical Requirements:
· Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets LCS Requirements
· Employees must complete a background investigation and successfully complete drug screenings
