Position Summary: The Creative Writer will be responsible for developing and editing a broad array of construction related internal and external communication materials.
Role and Responsibilities
- Create and edit content while closely collaborating with various teams and departments
- Review written content to ensure compliance with company brand and image.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to identify engaging and relevant digital assets to enhance written content
- Maintain internal database of written content
- Assist with additional projects that include award submissions, various marketing initiatives, and internal events and proofing proposal narratives
Position Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills including prioritizing, scheduling, and organization.
- Be able to multi-task multiple ongoing assignments and meeting deadlines
- Follow and understand Marketing SOPs
- All other duties as requested by Sr Marketing Manager
- At times may perform clerical/administrative duties
Required Skills /Training Requirements:
- Associate Degree in English, professional writing, or creative writing in a professional environment
- 1+ year supporting various written content
- Proficiency and excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and related software
- Proficiency with current Windows operating systems and various browsers.
- Experience in developing written content that successfully portrays the company's image
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite to include InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Construction knowledge preferred
- Basic knowledge of construction industry and terminology preferred
