The Delaware Avenue Enterprises warehouse facility offers food grade warehousing and logistic services for the breakdown, consolidation, and storage of tropical fruits, frozen food, and fresh meat products.Northport Distribution LLC, which provides solutions in dynamic segments of the transportation industry, marine terminal services, warehousing, and logistics management, is seeking an exceptional custodian/grounds keeper in the maintenance department.
Essential duties and functions:
- cleanliness and upkeep of office buildings, trailers, bathrooms, etc.
- Mopping, dusting, vacuuming, sanitation for the bathrooms, collection and removal of trash
- Cleanliness and upkeep of the terminal and its properties
- Weed whacking, patrolling, and policing of the grounds on and off terminal.
- Collection and removal of trash
- Cleaning and dusting of equipment and electrical stations,
- Snow removal
- Various other assignments
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) /eligible to receive one ( www.tsa.gov)
- Have reliable transportation to work.
- Have a strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions within a team environment.
- Team oriented and self-motivated.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Enthusiastic, reliable and committed
Security clearance and work authentication: All employees of Northport Distribution LLC must carry their Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) with them at all times!
