Job Summary:

The Customer Care Representative will interact with Storage Star’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. Process payments, make collection calls, and provides higher levels of customer support for Storage Star’s products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide stellar customer service which includes inquiries throughout the entire rental process.
  • Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online, or in-person to provide support and information on storage units, merchandise,billing, or other general concerns.
  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  • Uses knowledge of Storage Star’s products and services to answer inquiries or to forward them to the appropriate staff.
  • Performs administrative and clerical functions as needed such as recording address changes and maintaining Storage Star’s databases.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills including active listening.
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, products, services, or areas of customer service specialization.

Compensation is $16.00- $18.00 per hour (depending on sales and customer service experience).

CANDIDATES BEING CONSIDERED WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT TO A BACKGROUND CHECK, CREDIT CHECK, AND DMV RECORD CHECK.

Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Storage experience is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
