Looking for a new home for your administrative and customer service skills? Do you have previous experience in industrial distribution or a manufacturing environment? GCG is hiring a Customer Service Representative for our Leominster, MA location. In this role, you will provide administrative support for the Customer Service department of our wire and assembly operations. You will manage sales orders, perform data entry, update reports, and assist our sales team and customers over the phone as required.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide support to Account Managers in customer communications
  • Sales order administration (PO’S, EDI, etc.)
  • Planned Job Listing Maintenance
  • WIP Mass Load
  • Provide support to Account Managers to update the customer as applicable, regarding production schedules, delays, plan changes, supply chain delays, etc. in a timely manner.
  • Receives, documents customer complaint reports thru RMA process and provide feedback to the customer until matter is closed
  • Update customer communication log, GCG open order reports, customer open order reports, as required
  • Provide support to Account Managers in controlling and maintaining customer inventories
  • Maintain open and closed order files
  • Provide support to process contract amendments
  • Reconciles Purchase Receipts and shipping paperwork
  • Help with special projects as required
  • Assist other departments as needed
  • Complete all corporate training requirements
  • Comply with ISO-9001 quality standard
  • Set and track personal & business goals

What You’ll Bring

  • AS degree or 1-2 years’ experience in customer service/account management related function. (Note: above may be waived at department manager’s discretion)
  • Pleasant in-person and phone personality is required
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer background (experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Must be able to handle changing priorities, frequent interruptions, and plan re-formulations. The ability to handle multiple tasks, work rapidly, plan, vary work pace, remain attentive to details, concentrate amid distractions, and work cooperatively and respectively with others is also required.
  • Strong mathematical skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.)
  • Must be capable of communicating and interacting effectively with a multiple of personality types.
  • Must be capable of working independently
  • Experience in an electronics-manufacturing environment is a PLUS
