The RST provides technology service and support to the company's customers. The RST supports the Retail Technology Help Desk providing Level 2 support and supports the full suite of Retail Technology services, programs, and solutions used by customers. The RST works with other team members and the Retail Services Leadership Team to demonstrate the Company's Values, execute the Company's Strategic Objectives, and continually elevate the Customer Experience.

• Earn $ 25.38 - $ 31.73 ​per hour

• Full Time Hybrid Role

• Location Robesonia, PA

You will contribute by:

• Provide technical and application support to the Company's Retailers for all solutions within the Retail Technology suite of services including back-office HQ and store applications, point-of-sale, sign/tag software, networking, Windows based Operating Systems, Network Area Storage, Anti-Virus, etc.
• Provide hardware service and support for Retailer equipment including point-of-sale equipment, servers, computers, network, printers and wireless devices
• Provide Level 2 technical support to our Retailers when escalated from the Level 1 Retail Technology Help Desk team, and escalate to Level 3 Management when required
• Provide Retailers with service that includes remote and on-site field support in Retail supermarkets
• Provide basic application training to Retailers for the Retail Technology suite of services
• Provide Retailers with counseling, advice, and recommendations on technology solutions and services
• Provide remote and or On-Site support on a rotational On-Call basis for a week at a time

Travel Required:

• Yes, must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive on a daily basis
• Plus occasional overnight stays and possible air travel

Environment:
Office : Office Temperature (65F to 75F)
Specialized Knowledge :

• Strong knowledge of supermarket operations including point-of-sale and back-office applications; Strong technical/networking background; Strong knowledge of Windows Pro and Server operating systems;

Special Skills :

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Able to build positive customer relations
• Good communication, verbal and writing skills
• Complex problem-solving skills
• Team player

Physical abilities:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and sit and stand for long periods of time

Years Of Experience:

• 5-7 years of supermarket and/or technology experience

Education:

• Associates Degree in Computer Science
• Trade School Certificate for Computer Systems Specialist
