ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates a high-level understanding of data center operation and design concepts and differentiators (fault tolerant power, space temperature, and humidity controls, etc)
- Collaborates with internal NTT teams to assist in meeting customer requirements for power, space, and cooling.
- Responsible for providing and/or documenting power assignments of customer equipment in our CRM/Billing system.
- Participates in many aspects of pre-and post-contractual space planning for customers in existing and new data center space.
- Provides a first-level review of space, power, and cooling requests to ensure that the facility can maintain conditions within standard SLA guidelines
- Escalates space, power, and cooling requests to Technical Operations Engineering which may exceed standard conditions and guidelines.
- Reviews and provides regular reporting of key metrics for data centers in a region such as PUE, Particulate levels, Space Temperature, and Space Humidity.
- Provides ad-hoc reporting for customer requests, internal requests, or during incident management for key metrics such as PUE, Particulates, and environmental conditions.
- Recommends appropriate process and procedure revisions as needed to focus on continuous improvement.
- Tracks and reports on Green/Renewable energy utilization for individual customers, facilities, and regions.
- Documents publish and track action items, owners, and due dates.
- Escalates team and client issues to management as appropriate.
- Evaluates and respond to requests for changes for space, power, and cooling in the facility.
- Tracks and reports on general quality assurance metrics.
- Adheres to pre-defined departmental objectives and metrics to provide a high level of customer service.
- Supports strategic departmental objectives.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to understand power utilization, equations, and distribution
- Strong experience working with large, global, and hyper-scale customer base
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (particularly Excel), and Power BI systems.
- Knowledge of IT and data center infrastructure
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure design standards
- Experience in working with technical teams such as Operations and Engineering in a critical facilities environment.
- Possess excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Ability to function in a process-driven, high criticality environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $118,000.00 - $128,000.00 per year
