Job description

• RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate the receipt and delivery of freight between customers and carriers.
• Develop solid relationships with customers.
• Solicit freight daily to maximize drivers' available hours and equipment utilization.
• Collect and record complete and accurate information from customers, such as freight commodity and weight, pick up and delivery information, and billing information.
• Plan work and equipment assignments to meet transportation, operations and utilization goals.
• Enter all required information in computer accurately and timely.
• Use McLeod Software efficiently to track and utilize drivers and equipment.
• Solve issues between customer and driver in a professional manner.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations.
• Collect and scan all drivers' Bills of Lading and other included paperwork.
• Handle all Road Maintenance Issues.
• Keep all shifts informed of actions, decisions, problems and all other relevant issues taking place during your shift.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

• Computer - Must have or be able to quickly learn skills required for McLeod Loadmaster Software System.
