IMA Clinical Research is seeking to hire an energetic, detailed oriented Digital Marketing Manager experienced in WordPress, SEO, creative content development and digital marketing to support the Patient Recruitment department’s online communities and the overall the growth of IMA Clinical Research.

IMA Clinical Research, a division of The IMA Group, is a network that includes sites dedicated to Phase II-IV clinical research across multiple therapeutic area and an extensive array of more than 100 satellite locations providing extensive nationwide patient access. We have a rapidly growing database of over 300,000 patients and the ability to reach millions.

This position is a remote work from home role. We are not accepting applications from California, Colorado or Washington states at this time.


Job Responsibilities

  • Digital content creation of marketing and advertising materials that effectively promotes studies to potential volunteers and patients, as well as uses strategic approaches to target key market segments.
  • Create and maintain patient community WordPress websites.
  • Build on-page and off-page SEO for community websites.
  • Maintain social media calendar for all patient facing content to leverage the opportunity to lower the cost of patient recruitment in the medium to long term, particularly with communities and retargeting.
  • Build and grow organic patient engagement on all relevant social media platforms.
  • Build and maintain online patient communities through paid and organic engagement.
  • Stay current with the latest marketing and design trends to design and deliver new communications. Experience with TikTok is a plus!
  • Create copy and visualizations that convey emotional understanding of the patient audience with accurate messaging that truly engages.
  • Able to work on simultaneous projects and meet deadlines with quality product
  • QA design and copy for errors
  • Implement feedback and changes as necessary
  • Must be organized, creative and have an eye for details
  • Ability to work as a team contributor
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in web design, marketing, graphic design or related field, required
  • Experience building online communities with demonstrated growth in followers and engagement, preferred.
  • Experience creating WordPress websites with the ability to install and configure themes and plugins required.
  • Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Gravity Forms, FacetWP and Custom Post Types.
  • Technical, on-page, and off-page search engine optimization (SEO) knowledge required.
  • Portfolio or examples of websites created
  • 3-5 years of web design, social media marketing experience on various platforms, required.
  • 3-5 years of creating advertisements for social media and search, required.
  • 1-2 years of Adobe Creative Suite Experience - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premier, preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs - Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Proficient in presentation design principals using PowerPoint
