Position Summary:
Bituminous Roadways, Inc. (BR) is a growing, award-winning, and established union highway/heavy contractor looking for Distributor/Tack Truck Operators to join our team.
Our main office is located in Mendota Heights, MN. BR also has plant locations in Inver Grove Heights, Shakopee, Columbus, and Minneapolis.
Key Responsibilities: This is a highly skilled position involving control and operation of the Asphalt Distributor/Tack Truck.

• The operator is responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
• May perform other related duties such as shovel work, setting string line, adding or removing screed extensions.
• May oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• The job duties described herein are not exhaustive and may be supplemented.

Preferred Experience/Education:

• Three years experience operating an Asphalt Distributor Truck.
• Possess a solid understanding of all aspects of the paving industry including preparatory work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction and other details related to asphalt paving.
• Must have the following CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement

All candidates are required to pass a thorough Background Check, Physical and Drug Test. References will also be checked.
