We build machines for the World's Roads, Airports and Bridges in Grundy Center, IA.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Create and maintain designs, layouts, drawings and documentation using SolidWorks.
- Must have experience with SolidWorks with dimensioning of parts, 2D and 3D Modeling.
- Understands the equations, calculations and written instructions from designers and engineers before beginning a CAD drawing.
- Create and Process Engineering Change Notices (ECN). Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to assess the impact of the changes.
- Maintain proper control over drawing revision levels and bills of material using PDM and ERP.
- Be proficient with business and engineering applications such as SolidWorks, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Access experience is a plus.
- Ability to use SolidWorks in a milling, CNC machining or Plasma cutting environment is also a plus.
- Database experience with software like job boss, job pack etc...
- Resource Management Experience
- Have Strong attention to detail and quality.
