DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

Responsible for coordinating and performing center operations and activities designed to promote learning environments that are conducive to the social, physical, intellectual growth, well-being of infant, toddler and preschool children, and staff. Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of operations at all Head Start/Early Head Start sites. Ensures program centers operate in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or closely related field, and appropriate certification. Must have (3) years’ experience in performing instructional activities with preschool children and/or supervisory experience OR an equivalent combination of training and experience. Must meet criteria for background screening as required for childcare licensing and federal regulations.
