QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid California Teaching Credential required (Preliminary or Clear)
- Commitment to Los Alamitos Unified School District’s mission, vision and priority goals
- Passion for working with children; ability to motivate and support students in reaching high levels of
academic success
- Outstanding skills in problem-solving and critical-thinking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and work closely with a wide
range of stakeholders
- Well-grounded in learning and reinforcement theory
- Ability to work with students individually and in small or large groups
- Successful classroom experience preferred
- Ability to efficiently interpret, manage, and utilize multiple sets of data in order to best support student’s
progress
- A results-oriented, goal driven, team approach to work
- Ability to be flexible and revise priorities in accordance with the requirements of student needs, school
goals and district priorities along with a strong commitment to learn
ASSIGNMENT
- Provide targeted instruction to various students
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- $30.00 per hour, up to 28 hours per week
- Eligible to participate in BTSA/Induction program with Orange County Office of Education (OCDE)
