Job description
We are seeking a Chemistry Lab Technician or entry-level Chemist for a six-month contract with our team in Chicago, IL to work on new product and regulatory projects.
Responsibilities:
- Input sample data into Excel
- Spot and troubleshoot questionable results and equipment problems
- Follow procedures, and complete a log of samples taken where and at what time
- Accurate transcription of analytical data from lab reports into spreadsheets
Additional Details:
- Schedule: First (7 AM or 8 AM start)
- Location: Chicago, IL
- Duration: 4-6 Months
- Entry-level science graduate Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.)
- Intermediate Excel proficiency (i.e. Spreadsheets, Pivot Tables and Data Manipulation)
- Ability to look at data and point out key features
- Basic report writing skills and accurate input to ensure data accuracy
- A doer who is trustworthy and willing to learn – the manager is open to train on all aspects of the position
