Position: Environmental Technician 1

Pay Rate: $17-$18.50/hour
Location: Greensburg, PA

Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Technician 1:
  • Perform soil and water sampling, groundwater monitoring, field reconnaissance, site inspections and other data collection.
  • Perform remediation system operations and maintenance.
  • Support staff scientists and geologists on a variety of compliance projects.
  • Observe safe work practices.

What we're looking for:
  • GED/High School diploma or Associates Degree preferred.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience.
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification a plus
  • Ability to lift and carry 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and work under inclement weather conditions.
  • Stable employment history and favorable employment references.
  • Track record of excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Background and drug screening
  • Own reliable transportation.
  • Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
