The Facilities Manager will oversee corporate facility maintenance and will be responsible for ensuring that Lutron’s facilities promote a clean and safe working environment while meeting the strategic and functional needs of the business.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide facility management support services to Lutron’s global locations
  • Maintain overall responsibility of maintaining all Lutron owned and leased buildings, inclusive of comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule
  • Establish property budgets, plans, policies, systems, and procedures to maintain all facilities and align with Lutron’s strategic objectives
  • Oversee capital and expense facilities budgeting
  • Identify, evaluate, and capitalize on opportunities to reduce property costs
  • Oversee and coordinate outside contractors for corporate facilities operations and maintenance
  • Develop proactive plans to maintain and periodically renovate existing facilities
  • Work across organization, including HR and site managers, to schedule all work in a collaborative manner to meet multiple business objectives
  • Ensure maintenance practices are standardized at all Lutron owned and leased facilities
  • Negotiate with and manage relationships with third-party vendors
  • Understand health trends and sustainability

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Real Estate, Architecture, Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering preferred with a min GPA of 3.00
  • 8+ years prior Corporate Facilities experience, required
  • Project management training and certification preferred
  • Excellent problem solving and financial analysis skills
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with a global engineering and/or technical company is highly desirable
