Facility Equipment Operator II working in the Waste Water treatment area to join their safety conscious team.
This position requires availability to start at various times; working 10-12 hour days as needed. Start times could be 6am; 8am; 10am; or 3pm depending on need of the business. We want a candidate who has a flexible schedule.

Position Summary:
The Facility
Equipment Operator II is responsible for the safe and proper operations of a wastewater treatment plant and equipment. This position operates, monitors, maintains and troubleshoots the treatment facility, its processes and other equipment.

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates:
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions.
- Hands-on operation of the waste water plant equipment and processes.
- Operation of special equipment, such as pumps.
- Operate equipment according to procedures and safe practices.
- Perform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the job.
- Performs all aspects of sampling, monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
- May assist with the installation and inspections of waste lines and services.
- May perform the installation, maintenance and repair of the physical plant and pump stations and all of their components.
- Performs regular and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery.
- Responds to emergencies at the plant and pump stations.
- Operate forklifts, bobcats or other equipment as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications for Internal Candidates:
Requirements:
- High school diploma /GED required.
- Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs is preferred.
- Experience operating a forklift and/or bobcat is required.
- 1+ years of waste water treatment experience is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
- Waste Water Treatment license is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible schedule is required.
