Our company is hiring a Front Desk Agent to handle reception duties in a hotel. As a Front Desk Agent, you should have good people skills and be able to provide our guests with a pleasant, efficient and helpful service. On a typical day, you will process cash and credit card transactions, check guests in and out, inform management of any issues, answer phones and resolve guest requests. Other duties include managing the front desk staff and training new employees. A degree in hospitality or other relevant areas of study are required.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct telephone calls, transferring as needed.
- Answer and direct visitors and answer basic questions.
- Provide visitor information to internal callers.
- Locate staff, using computers and directories.
- Route visitors to appropriate building/personnel destinations.
- Review and screen visitors to determine appropriate access/authorization levels.
- Maintain security of building/facility grounds, including card access systems, alarm systems, and alarm notifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
