Furniture Salesperson

Employee Duties & Responsibilities

Sells furniture bedding in furniture or department stores. Suggests furniture size, period style, color, fabric, and wood that will complement customers home other furnishings. Discusses quality of fabric & finish and type quality of construction with a customer. May resolve customer complaints regarding delivery of damaged or incorrect merchandise. Performs other duties as described under Salesperson; wholesale tr. Master Title..

• Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Manage own time and the time of others.
• Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, organization rules, and the democratic political process.
• Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

Responsibilities

• Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
• Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
• Continuously improve through feedback

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $2,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
