We’re seeking a Group Director, New Revenue Streams to join our team at The Coca-Cola Company. The Group Director is responsible for leading and growing the Ready-to-Drink (RTD) Coffee Category for our North America Operating Unit (NAOU).

KEY WORKING PARAMETERS

Focus, Scope, & Impact:

Builds the RTD Coffee Category acting as a General Manager to do the following:

  • Build, lead and maintain a strong collaborative relationship with Key Stakeholders.

  • Lead development of annual and multi-brand growth strategies and business plans for the portfolio with the potential of unlocking growth in order to deliver against overall brand vision and business objectives in North America OU.

  • Act as a leader and drive key projects for the Category. Be able to think outside the box and leverage key relationships in the industry.

  • Partner with internal cross functional teams and external stakeholders to develop new and/or improved products, packaging and programs to meet consumer needs, deliver against brand strategies and drive System value/business objectives.

  • Drive brand positioning of portfolio of brands. Deliver upon brand objectives via clear direction/guidance and effective resource allocation.

  • Provide direct reports with leadership, clear direction/prioritization, and coaching to achieve business objectives, improve performance and skills, and develop career paths; grow better business people.

This individual must understand the complex Coffee category in the U.S. as well as its different business models to be able to create and implement solutions that create opportunities for our NAOU.

KEY SUCCESS PARAMETERS

Experience and Education

  • Ideally, experience within the Coffee Category, or similar categories, within the U.S.

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and complex categories/businesses (external/internal)

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • 10 or more years of relevant experience required

Work Focus

Ability to develop and articulate multi-year strategic plan and annual business plan for the brand/brands within his/her portfolio within the Operating Unit. Develops a holistic picture of what is required to deliver these plans including alignment with senior leadership on the new business model, internal stakeholders and external partners to create new revenue stream streams.

Communication Focus

Role is a high influencing/GM style role and she/he should have a good commercial understanding, franchise leadership and/or customer orientation.

Interactions include leading external partnerships and mutually beneficial business models, developing new propositions moving quickly from conceptual sell to in market retail selling.

Role interacts frequently with global teams. The role requires a senior level communicator and negotiator but also strong collaboration skills.

MASTERY OF (REQUIRED)

Understanding of the category and “WHAT IT TAKES” to achieve growth and success for NAOU playing/winning in the RTD Coffee Category

Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders

Ability to develop business models and gain dynamically plan resources requirements

Strong franchise/Distributor selling skills including ability to build partnerships, establish trust & credibility and influence across all levels of leadership

Understanding of Core RTM and ARTM

Financial acumen – general management orientation

Ability to work as an entrepreneur to develop transformation Businesses

BROAD EXPERTISE IN (GOOD TO HAVE)

Operations experience with innovation, commercialization, distributor management

Works well in agile project style environment
