Our Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for all aspects of recruitment and hiring for Physicians, Dentist, Registered Dental Assistants, Advanced Practice Providers (NP/PAs), and various Health Center Directors. The Healthcare Recruiter serves as the primary contact for both the candidate and hiring manager to include directing, advertising, sourcing, pre-screening, on site interview facilitation, extending job offers & negotiation, orientation and post-employment follow up.

- Create and execute sourcing strategy to meet current and future staffing needs
- Re-imagine and lead the recruitment program - sourcing, screening, interviewing, & hiring
- Develop a creative recruitment strategy to increase and maintain our provider population with qualified candidates while incorporating retention into the overall philosophy
- Develop collaborative relationships with external partners to create candidate pipelines (i.e. schools, universities, and residency programs)
- Research and recommend participation in conferences, job fairs, and Clinical & Dental Recruitment opportunity events.
- Conduct full cycle recruitment – develop and post job postings, review resumes, conduct phone screens and provide assessment to hiring manager, conduct tour of visiting applicants including educating them on local area during interview if needed, conduct reference checks, make verbal offers, and draft offer letters and negotiate terms of employment
- Continue to evaluate and adjust candidate selection criteria and communicate changes to hiring manager
- Draft compelling job descriptions and collateral materials to draw qualified candidates to TVHC
- Manage Applicant Tracking System for providers, maintain documentation for all requisitions and applicant records
- Support retention efforts by engagement of providers (hires) post-employment
- Develop recruitment dashboard and weekly report to CMO
- Uphold local, state, and federal employment laws, ensuring fair and compliant hiring
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or work experience equivalent
- Experience in negotiation
Preferred:
- Experience recruiting and interviewing candidates;
- Non-profit experience
- Health Care experience

- Willingness and ability to work some evenings and weekends, as needed, within the set time limits.
- CA driver’s license and valid insurance
- Must be able to travel to various clinics throughout the day, as needed, by CMO or designee
- Ability to drive to various sites
- Hearing and speech to converse in person and over the telephone.
