By partnering up clients with our specialized counselors, crisis workers, and psychiatric staff, we are able to provide quality programs such as: mental health skill building, crisis stabilization, intensive in-home counseling, addiction, and recovery treatment, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment. Our programs, including HYPE, CVPP, and Blue Arc Behavioral Services, are licensed by the State of Virginia and designed to empower our clients to develop the skills necessary to live independently in their communities.

Hiring Manager Position Overview
Who we’re looking for

HYPE Counseling Services is looking for an enthusiastic Hiring Manager to grow within our organization. The Hiring Manager is responsible for meeting hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. This entails working closely with department managers to assess hiring needs, screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience. This is a remote part-time position (20-25 hours/week) that can lead to a full-time position.

What you’ll be doing

Including but not limited to:

  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes, job applications, and performing phone screenings.
  • Maintains a pool of quality candidates based on department needs.
  • Conduct initial screening for assigned positions, verifies minimum qualifications, and determines whether to schedule with or forward to the department manager.
  • Recommend candidates to department managers for final interview.
  • Responsible for conducting first round interviews and in some cases final interviews.

Hiring Manager Qualifications

What you need to have:

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening, and evaluation.
  • Familiarity with social media and other professional networks. the principles and components of recovery.
  • Good personal management skills – time management, organization, dependability, and independence.
