Compensation Range: $37 - 47 per hour
We have an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Designer (Merchandising Designer) to work for a major beauty brand. The designer will work on re-imaging our client's current evergreen displayers across all categories (lips, face, eyes). They will be responsible for developing technical drawings for production (drawing turnover), renderings and contribute a Global Guideline and work closely with Creative (image, editorial, visual merchandising, etc).
The ideal candidate can be self managed and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
This is long term contract, hybrid role that requires candidates to be based in NYC.
Responsibilities:
- Come to the table with premium elevated designs that move the needle forward in terms of how the brand is perceived.
- Understand the ergonomics and structural design and form of a displayer.
- Read and execute the details in briefs/assignments and implement these details in designs.
- Communicate with partners cross functionally as well as present work in a clear concise manner.
