Our business, which specializes in flooring for the marine and RV industries, as well as steering wheels for the marine, UTV, and cart industries, is seeking an International Product Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer expectations, as well as industry and regulatory standards.

This position is responsible but not limited to the following:

  • Understand the full line of product offering.
  • Understand/learn the manufacturing of all products and supply chains.
  • Willing and able to travel to Italy multiple times per year as needed/requested.
  • Willing and able to travel to Italy for a “long-stint” (approx. 2-3 weeks) training on products and manufacturing.
  • Willing to learn “tech” skills such as products that interact with electronic components in the marine and small automobile industries.
  • Have the ability or the ability to learn electronics and how they operate not just within our products but within our customer’s products as well.
  • Have some knowledge/familiarity with some of the following technologies and/or others in the marketplace:

Bluetooth technology
CANbus (controller area network) systems and protocols
ECUs (Electronic control units)
Touchscreen Displays
Electronic Waterproofing
Low voltage wiring systems

  • This role will require travel with Sales Teams to visit customers.
  • Must be able to work closely with customers and act as a salesperson when needed.
  • Be able to communicate with executive positions both inside and outside of the Business Unit
  • Must be able to trouble-shoot problems with customers both in person and via phone/email communication.
  • Must have exceptional communication skills.
  • Be willing and able to learn to read and write Italian.
  • Keep web-based software for Project Management and communication up to date DAILY.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite Programs
  • Ability to use Microsoft TEAMS Software and applications
  • Must be able to generate weekly and monthly project reports.
  • Work closely with others on project timelines, milestones and execution dates and communicate that information within web-based systems as well as verbal communication with Sales and customers. Will be the “HUB” of communication on all things related to products and projects.
  • Work with Supply Chain Management on project timelines and product needs and communicate with on prioritizing project’s needs.
  • Needs to have an entrepreneurial mindset and be able to set and complete tasks on their own.
