Position Summary:
The Inventory Management Specialist is responsible for coordinating all incoming and outgoing inventory for the Plant’s production needs. The will interact regularly with other departments, including but not limited to scheduling, production, and sales.
Essential Functions:
· Daily communication and coordination with customer service, scheduler, and sales teams.
· Regular coordination with production to ensure correct pallet count during pressing
· Tracking OT and managing Paycom
· Updating reorder points for shipping supplies
· Verifying loading of trucks
· Daily moving of finished pallets from wrapping to Finished Goods in QAD
· Coordinating packaging of bagged materials with production
· Creating and maintaining system for OVR management
· Creating, processing, and completing work order sheets
· Maintain inventory of shipping supplies

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Other Attributes:
· Knowledge of general inventory management strategies
· Ability to collaborate with others
· Excellent organization skills are a must
· Knowledge of inventory management software
· Experience with QAD is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
