Summary:

The Inventory Control Specialist will monitor and maintain current inventory levels; process purchase orders as required, track orders and investigate problems.

Essential Functions:

  • Record purchases
  • Maintain database
  • Perform physical count of inventory
  • Reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports
  • Receive incoming consumables and assets
  • Assign assets as needed
  • Manage asset reservations
  • Manage tool sign in/out
  • Work with the maintenance section to assist in maintenance ticket system
  • Supervise temp staff

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
  • Knowledge of warehouse/inventory management principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills
  • Good research skills, highly organized, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required
  • 1 years of relevant experience required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS).
  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, a background check, and provide proof of being fully vaccinated for Covid-19 after accepting a conditional offer of employment.
