Senior Executive Service (SES) Support Services serves as the Junior Specialist providing support with the different areas within executive programs such as executive performance management, benefits, employee relations and executive development for Senior Executive Service (SES), Senior-Level, Scientific and Professional (ST) and excepted service positions. Provides guidance to management on all program areas, recommends innovative methods and strategies to resolve problems. Research policies, guidelines, and provide advisory services in all program areas. Duties and responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:


· Provides support with onboarding and separations activities of OCEM servicing population

  • Processes and tracks non-performance-based awards such as special act, on-the-spot, and time off awards
  • Ensures Fact Sheets and Standard Operating Procedures for the Office is up-to-date and coordinates with subject matter experts
  • Updates PowerPoint presentations (i.e., performance/benefits trainings)
  • Assists with performance plans and maintenance of DOE’s performance management system
  • Provides support for the Executive Essentials Program sessions
  • Schedules meetings and trainings
  • Other duties as assigned


Experience: Federal Human Resources experience preferred specifically in any of the following areas: performance management, benefits, employee relations, executive development. Proficient in Microsoft Suite.


Education: Undergraduate degree highly desired
