SUMMARY
The Systems Administrator - This position requires strong professionalism, vision, and communication while coordinating multiple personnel and vendors across all Facilities and the Home Office.

Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Candidate shall provide software and Windows System Administration support for all Arboreta Healthcare systems and locally specific and customized platforms and solutions to include software/hardware configuration, security administration, application interfaces, troubleshooting, consultation, and new workload planning with Arboreta Healthcare IT Team

Onsite Commitment

  • Daily onsite at Home Office in Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota

IT support will consist of the following tasks:

  • Laptop/Workstation Deployment/Redeployment
  • Paying close attention to the user’s description of their computer problem and asking questions to identify the problem and determine how to solve it
  • Training users on how the use of new hardware or software
  • Testing and evaluating the organization’s computer network
  • Troubleshooting network problems and individual user hardware or software problems
  • Setting up or repairing computer hardware and other associated devices such as printers and scanners
  • Log and work tickets
  • Document all work in ticketing system
  • Assist in afterhours emergencies as needed
  • Assist in setup and breakdowns of events
  • Work with vendors to complete orders
  • The Candidate will serve as the subject matter expert and participate in regular IT communication
  • Candidate shall provide technical guidance on new workstation deployment utilizing automated methods.
  • Monitor network to ensure security and availability to specific users.
  • Maintain integrity of the network, and security. Ensure network connectivity throughout a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
  • Maintain network VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems.
  • Maintain backups
  • Minimal after hours (weekdays and weekends).
  • Office 365 Support
  • Monitor network performance and resolve issues such as internet bandwidth problems, ISP issues and firewall / router changes.
  • Provide desktop and application support, including new user setups, line of business application support, and hosted application support.
  • Produce, maintains and update technical documentation.
  • CompTIA Security+,, MCP or any current Microsoft certification desirable, ITIL Foundations certification a plus
  • Attention to smallest details of user environments to ensure a consistent end user experience

EXPERIENCE

  • Associate Degree or 3 year equivalent work experience preferred
  • Technical knowledge of all components of a modern systems infrastructure (networking concepts, network protocols, security, etc.)
  • MSP Experience preferred

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • The position is an advanced corporate professional role. Applicant should demonstrate a balance between technical knowledge and people skills. Has basic understanding of all IT policies and practices. Assists projects/sourcing initiatives of low to medium complexity that require demonstrated knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments. Ensures compliance to contractual changes and/or updates based on company and regulatory guidelines. Works with limited supervision on basic projects. Ability to set and achieve goals.
  • Strong organizational skills, navigate organizations and build trusting relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g. executive, management, individual contributors)
  • Self-Starter, can work well independently and as a team member
