The Laundry Room in Seabright is the highest rated laundromat in Santa Cruz. We take pride in the cleanliness of our facility, our kind staff, and the quality of our service.
We are hiring Laundromat Attendants to cover a variety of available shifts. Attendants are responsible for customer service, cleaning, drop-off order intake, and washing/folding laundry. We are looking for people who are kind, detail oriented, and like keeping busy. Experience in customer service, cleaning, or laundry is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Customer service or hospitality experience (prior laundromat attendant, laundry processing, or cleaning experience a plus).
- Must be comfortable handling and washing dirty laundry and prove efficient and neat at folding and packaging laundry.
- Detail oriented and able to manage many things at once; cleaning, customer service, wash & fold orders.
- Comfortable using point-of-sale systems/registers.
- Ability to lift around 30lbs+ of laundry.
- Fluent in English (Spanish a plus).
PAY:
Starting pay is $17/hour. The position has potential to earn tips. Employees of The Laundry Room are offered free laundry for their personal laundry.
SHIFTS:
Multiple shifts are available. Common shifts are weekdays 8am-2pm and evenings 5pm-8pm with additional backup coverage available.
