Job description
The primary focus of this position is to provide Compensation support to the ITS team. This role will act as a compensation consultant for our management team, provide management with analysis and reports, uncover, analyze and communicate compensation trends, and run various pay plan, and incentive processes. In addition, this position will interact with all levels of associates to make salary recommendations and resolve compensation related questions and issues. Other duties include performing Incentive Plan training, forecasts and accruals, merit administration and statistical analysis.
Candidates must be willing to continue to evolve with the role and will be required to pursue and promote change inside and outside the department. Strict confidentiality, a high-level of accuracy, and the ability to plan/lead major projects will be required.
How You'd Spend Your Day:
- Consults and collaborates with all levels of business unit leaders and human resource partners on the design, execution, and value of the business’s compensation programs, plans, and practices
- Collaborates with business leaders, human resource partners, and other stakeholders to define requirements, expectations, and to monitor updates regarding agreed upon deliverables
- Independently leads compensation programs, initiatives, and activities
- Interprets, analyzes, and models large datasets creating scenarios, developing business actions and recommendations to address the needs and objectives of the business
- Evaluates and remains knowledgeable on external labor market trends, competitiveness, and internal alignment by researching industry trends and assessing company data
- Develops and delivers compensation communications while taking into account change management best practices for leaders and associates
- A minimum of three (3) years of compensation experience with at least three (2) years of serving as an internal consultant on HR or compensation topics
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint CCP or is working towards certification preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and influencing skills
- Expert communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience building effective relationships with senior business unit leaders
- Organized and acts with a sense of urgency to deliver timely accurate results
