Job Responsibilities:

  • Daily, weekly, monthly job tasks.
  • Inspections.
  • Heading committees.
  • Proactive responses for general repairs.
  • Be responsible for Production floor, Engine Room and Waste Treatment Facility.
  • Self motivated
  • Extremely team orientated.

Safety Responsibilities:

  • Safety is vitally important not only at our facility but also from a personal standpoint. Employees are responsible for understanding and following all safety procedures. Likewise, food safety is a key performance indicator. Understanding this, GMP and housekeeping procedures are to be followed as part of any job at our facility

SQF Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
  • Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
  • Position is backed up by Electrician A

Education and Experience:

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Prevalent certificates toward trade (electrical, welding, plumbing, HVAC).
  • Must have experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics.
  • Must have knowledge or equal training in all our programs HP Hood LLC has to offer.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs several times.
  • Heat/Cold 125° F to -40° F.
  • Wet locations.
  • Inside/Outside work.
  • Standing: Long periods of time (4–6 hours).
  • Sitting: Infrequently.
  • Walking: Occasionally for short periods.
  • Climbing: Frequently.
  • Bending: Frequently.
  • Twisting of Spine: Occasionally.
  • Twisting of wrists: Frequently.
  • Lifting: Light (< 30 lbs frequently, > 30 lbs occasionally).
  • Carrying: Light (30-50 lbs) frequently, distance 30 yards.
  • Pushing/Pulling: Under 75 lbs without assistance frequently.
  • Pushing/Pulling: Over 75 lbs with assistance occasionally.
  • Ability to withstand varying temperatures ranging anywhere from 100°F to -40°F for varied periods of time.
