The WW Logistics and Fulfillment Organization is responsible for the delivery and fulfillment of customer orders on a global basis.

The logistics operation managed by the designed Juniper third-party logistics provider (3PL) will support rder fulfillment for configured and build-to-order products Worldwide. The Logistics Manager shall ensure that Juniper's 3PLs have established processes to meet the following r uirements for the management sufficient capacity and throughput to support peak and end-of-quarter periods. The Americas Logistics Manager shall oversee the Distribution and Logistics into and out of the Americas.

This position will work with several other cross-functional disciplines such as Legal and Compliance, Tax, Sales, Revenue, IT, and other functional and logistics teams (process owners) to bring process management understanding and discipline to the company and coordinate efforts across the business. This position will report to the Director of WWOPS Logistics.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Should possess at least ten years of experience in progressively more responsible leadership positions in areas of Logistics operations, Logistics Program Management, Supply Planning & Trade Compliance.

- Should display an in-depth knowledge of Logistics operations, strategy, inventory planning, and the United States Trade Compliance processes, including but not limited to understanding Monitor and Deliver Order Shipments across a Regional footprint.

-Reconcile and Manage Returns/Stock Rotation, Merge in Transit, Perform Compliance Checks, Generate Trade Documents and SOX compliance revenue recognition practices

-Understand the capabilities of Global / Regional Freight Forwarding Providers and Fulfillment Hub Providers. Knowledge in areas of logistics planning/analytics would be helpful.

- Experience managing key projects th t are cross-functional

- Successful candidates should possess a proven ability to communicate with cross-functional teams effectively and objectively present the pros and cons of alternatives. Be capable of assessing and providing guidance on reducing risks of various options.

- Extensive know-how of process management tools, Six Sigma, metrics, and performance measurement techniques. The ideal candidate knows how to effectively employ these tools and processes, incorporating metrics by wh ch progress against the plan can be measured.

- Demonstrated successful experience assessing process requirements, development and implementation, and maintenance.

- Must think strategically and plan effectively, yet possess a detail-oriented, hands-on approach. Must be results-oriented and ability to operate with a high sense of urgency.

- Demonstrated ability to es abolish large distribution/fulfillment centers

- Reasonable amount of travel related to work responsibility is required.

- Bilingual (English and Spanish)

- Knowledge of CM business in Juarez

- Knowledge of bonded transfer from MX to the US

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide managerial oversight for a giant DC and cross-dock, as operating by Juniper's designed 3PL. Prepare, manage, and monitor labor, capacity, and DC/cross-dock throughput.

-Work closely with various in ernal business/process owners within logistics and with Sales, Order Management, Revenue, Planning, Tax, Compliance, etc. Develop and implement a plan (roadmap) to achieve each process's objectives.

- Align with and leverage th d-party system integration partners and consultants to plan and implement agreed programs

- Manage project timelines. Establish priorities, make business trade-offs, and sequence initiatives necessary to achieve long-term pr cess goals. Ensure the integration of initiatives is entirely consistent with the company and WWOPS functional strat gic goals and objectives.

- Coordinate with functional organizations to determine the critical linkage between cross-functional processes. Proactively monitor and manage their connection.

- Create business case documents supporting project initiati es by collaboration with the process owners, including business cases, ROIs, project functional scopes, and specifications.

- Proactively and continuously identify business areas where improvements can be made to streamline workflow and application flow resulting in measurable savings of time, effort, and costs.

- Constantly monitors industry for best practices in the Logistics and Trade Compliance functional business areas to leverage in business processes, driving improvements in workflow and applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $124,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
