Position purpose - Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
The purpose of this position is to provide escrow customer support and respond to written and verbal customer requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner. The Loss Draft Associate is responsible for loss draft and property damage management according to established procedures, including processing checks, document review, ordering and reviewing property inspections, working loss draft claim reports, and evaluating exceptions. This position is to assist team members in a synergetic environment by working with others in creating positive customer experiences.
- Responds to inquiries regarding insurance loss drafts and guides customers through the restoration process in a professional and understanding manner
- Orders property inspections, reviews and analyzes status of damage, prepares loss draft reports, and corresponds with customers and third parties in the process of repair
- Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of customer inquiries regarding the loss draft process, receipt of loss draft payments, creating timelines for draw requests, and returning checks with efficiency
- Monitors FEMA website daily for new declared disasters, researches counties by zip codes, and creates in-house reports of affected loans
- Researches changes and policies in regards to FEMA and flood legislation
- Assists in implementing those changes in PRMI’s policies and procedures
- Maintains accurate records of checks, summary reports, contractor correspondence, and customer dialogue

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Preferences
- Strong mortgage origination and/or processing background
- Experience originating/processing FHA and VA loans
- Proficiency in Encompass 360, Mortgage Cadence, Loan Prospector and Desktop Underwriter, and DataTrac, Liaison, Snagit, and GoToMeeting

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
