Uniparts Olsen has a great opportunity at our location in Eldridge, Iowa for an innovative, process-oriented, full-time Senior Process Engineer that’s ready to dive into new projects and provide leadership and development to the Process Engineering Team. This position provides engineering support for multiple projects and assists with production floor equipment and process support. We’re located right in the middle of the Quad-Cities, straight off the highway so we’re close to Moline, Rock Island, Davenport, Bettendorf, Milan, Clinton and more.

Prior Experience:

• CNC Machining
• 3 or more years of experience in process engineering relating to CNC Machining and Manufacturing
• Knowledge of CAD for New Product Development and legacy products
• Experience working with ERP systems; implementing changes and monitoring processes
• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced blueprint reading skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, with an eye on reducing costs
• Execute the manufacturing side of new product introduction process
• Qualify processes and tooling using acceptable statistical methods
• Develop work instructions, production standards and production staffing requirements
• Coordinate with other departments and facilities involved in manufacturing process
• Research and resolve production issues
• Evaluate and recommend potential new production equipment, including costs, tooling and fixtures
• Establish operating, maintenance and safety procedures for plant equipment and machinery

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
