Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

OTTO's opportunity:

Our Manufacturing Maintenance Technician will repair and maintain a variety of production equipment.

Specifically, the Manufacturing Maintenance Technician will:

• Inspect and service electric and electronic control circuit and panels periodically
• Disassemble, repair, or replace worn or defective parts
• Assist in moving equipment
• Maintain all service on machines following prescribed schedule
• Provides support to production supervision
• Adjustment of equipment to maintain quality
• Manage inventory of small hand tools and parts used by production
• Identify equipment that requires scheduled maintenance and implement them into the preventative maintenance program
• Keep record of machine services for the purpose of identifying machine failure trends
• Identify machines that require immediate attention
• Identify and implement machine improvements
• Procure necessary components to repair equipment and maintain necessary spare parts inventory to decrease downtime
• Assist with other related duties as required or assigned

What you'll need to bring to the table:

• 1-2 years related experience preferred
• Basic communication skills
• Lift equipment up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using machining equipment preferred
• Experience in basic electronics, wiring, and programming preferred
