Master Schedule Specialist - UAB Medicine Capacity Management - REMOTE
Job description
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Responsible for maintaining provider template design. Includes but not limited to configuring closures and other template design modification using the GE Centricity (IDX) scheduling system for providers across the Health System. Must possess the ability to use deduction skills in order to identify schedule template usage trends. Must be able to preemptively recommend template design modifications to create a more streamlined and functional template design. Provides coverage for Capacity Management duties in absence of fellow Master Schedule Specialists. Employee is required to work remotely after initial orientation.
Position Requirements:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2-3 years appointment scheduling and/or provider daily template build experience. Demonstrated experience in leading change, customer advocacy, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with GE Centricity (IDX) system preferred. Must be experienced in Microsoft applications to include Word and Excel.

Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management or related field.
