Ace Outdoor Power is hiring a MECHANIC.

Position is 40+ hours per week. The job includes repairing and overhauling tractors, excavators, mowers and utility vehicles.

Positions available in all three stores: Bayville, Cream Ridge, Manahawkin.

A Clean drivers license and knowledge of equipment is REQUIRED

Job includes traveling to customers work sites and making repairs in field as needed.

Occasional over night travel to manufacturers classes for updates are required.

Knowledge of both diesel and gasoline powered equipment.

Must have own tools.

There is heavy lifting and moving of machinery.

The job requires a working knowledge of the operation of tractors, backhoes, skid steers and excavators.

Daily Work Consists of:

• Ability to accurately diagnose and repair construction equipment
• Experience with parts diagrams, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Basic computer skills
• Must own your own tools
• Three or more years’ experience on construction equipment a plus
• Clean drivers License
• Willingness to make repairs in the field and get the job done.
• Ability to move 50 lbs multiple times during the course of a day

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
