Men’s Locker Room Attendant

Assistant Manager
Summary/Objective
To perform personal services for members and guests in the locker rooms affiliated with the swimming pools, fitness center, golf course, and tennis areas of the club. Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation, safety, security, and cleanliness of the locker room area.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Maintains inventory count and issues supply requests for all member supplies as supplies are needed.
2. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of locker room, restrooms, and shower area as needed.
3. Picks-up all used towels, laundry bags, and members’ fitness cloths, and brings them to laundry to be washed.
4. Refills all shower caddies with soaps, shampoo, and hair conditioner as needed.
5. Cleans and shines members’ golf shoes and places them back in members’ lockers.
6. Reports any malfunction with a/c, heating, lights, showers, and toilets to supervisor.
7. Refills towel racks with clean ones.
8. Dusts and wipes down lockers once a week.
9. Ensures that all members’ valuables are safe in their lockers.
10. Keeps shine room clean and organized at all times.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position requires flexibility to work shifts Tuesday through Sunday.
Required Education and Experience
1. At least 6 months customer service experience is required.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours at one time.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Club experience preferred.
- Fine dining experience preferred.
