General Summary:
The MDM Supervisor is responsible for guiding, coordinating, monitoring, and training Merchandise Assistants with SharePoint Workflows, SKU Set-Up, SKU Maintenance, Purchase Orders (including Writing and Updating and general follow-up), PRO3 Offer Entry and Updates and the overall Data Integrity tied to Merchandise Execution. On average, Family Dollar creates 10K new SKUs each fiscal year. This person ensures that the processes and procedures are executed consistently and in accordance with the company's goals and objectives to optimize merchandise execution efficiencies.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Manages and supervises all key responsibilities performed by Merchandise Assistants.

2. Responsible for Associate development including coaching and performance reviews that drive personal success for the Associate enabling growth for a strong bench for Merchandise Data Management and Merchandising.
3. Manages to time-lines for both SKU Creation, Purchase Order Writing and daily reporting to the business for Import Buy Trips.

4. Responsible for daily review of New SKU Creation to ensure 100% SKU accuracy and data integrity.

5. Manages and owns the responsibility oversight of getting accurate data into Retek (RMS).

6. Responsible for the creation of all documentation related to exception reporting, processes, and training.

7. Primary business customers are Merchants, Store Operations, Inventory Control, Logistics, Supply Chain, Distribution Centers, Risk Management, Global Sourcing, Pricing, Vendor Management, and Legal.

8. Manages and supervises the synchronization of all SKU data changes that impact the primary business customers listed above.

9. Supervises all Merchandising H ierarchy Changes.

10. Manages and owns the creation of all documentation related to exception reporting, processes, and training.

11. Able to create communications both written and verbal in a clear and concise manner that leaves nothing open to interpretation.
12. May act as a Subject Matter Expert for technical projects that require changes to merchandise execution policies.

13. Manages and supervises all merchandise data changes, maintenance, and cleansing.

14. Must have a thorough understanding of all data audit reporting and partner with the MDM Administrator when discrepancies arise.

15. Manages and supervises the Item setup and creation process for item data integrity and efficiencies.

16. Responsible for developing processes that identify and repair item data exceptions in conjunction with Inventory Control.

Skill Sets Requirements:
Education: BA or BS and/or equivalent in work history

Experience : Two years of supervisory/management experience in a retail data integrity environment or four years of related analytical experience
