Mortgage Loan Officer

What you will do…

Responsible for increasing mortgage loan revenue through acquisition of new business and provision of premier member service. Expectations for meeting these goals include, but are not limited to:

• Recommending loan products or solutions in accordance with lending guidelines and in the best interest of the member

• Representing the Credit Union at networking events or outside sales calls

• Managing a customer portfolio, inclusive of key relationships in the industry and past and current members

• Acting as the primary point of contact and communicating effectively with the member throughout the loan process

• Preparing loan estimates in a timely fashion
• Ensuring the loan closes on time and communicating appropriately throughout the closing process

Responsible for ensuring compliance through evaluation and collection of all necessary documentation throughout the loan process.

Responsible for creating innovative strategies to ensure an excellent member experience.

Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of all applicable lending regulations, the economy, market rates, vendors, and competitors.

What you need….

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in consumer sales
• NMLS, preferred but not required
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
