Responsible for planning, organizing, project managing, improving and implementing new & existing manufacturing processes and equipment, including design, documentation, capacity and quality systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recommendations for manufacturing equipment/technology strategy to support business goals of product growth, profitability, and capacity management.
- Design, development, and introduction of processes, equipment, and cost improvement activities related to manufacturing. Maintains appropriate documentation.
- Driver of continuous improvement through establishing methods and improving performance of systems and processes. Utilizing specialized techniques for continuous improvement
- Support of the internal Screen to Machine manufacturing process; to include documenting process flow, align manufacturing industry best practices with CAD output to troubleshoot defects, and on the ground support through transition.
- Participates in new product development reviews, when applicable, and coordinates all deliverables to ensure successful implementations.
- Conducts reviews of plant capacity with management; to assure operation has capacity to reliably meet product forecasts, including provisions for peak demand periods.
- Supports productivity goals and ensures product and process compliance through communication and objective setting.
- Support of safety guidelines/procedures within the manufacturing facility. Knowledge and experience of OHSA regulations.

- Establish strong relationships with California Closets operating teams, including close coordination with key initiatives already in progress
- Have a reputation for integrity. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing respectful and high performing relationships with all franchisees.
Qualifications:
- 3 – 5 years experience in a leadership role in manufacturing
- Excellent communication (presentations, oral and written), time and project management capability.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic CAD applications.
- Cabinet shop manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Ability to be regularly exposed to manufacturing/production environment with ability to climb/bend/balance required.
- Interpersonal ability to collaborate with internal and external contacts
- Attention to detail and committed to precision in task completion.
- A “roll-up-their-sleeves” type leader who gets involved, gets engaged and gets out of the office.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
