Position Overview:

Looking for a Network Engineer with Cisco switching and routing experience to join our team of technology professionals. Candidates must have experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining Cisco switching and routing solutions. The Network Engineer will work closely with the Networking and Systems teams to build and maintain secure high available business solutions for our customers using Cisco network equipment.

Expect a high-paced working environment working with multiple client networks which combine data, video, voice solutions running over Cisco equipment. Daily work will vary from new project deployments to maintaining (IOS upgrades, configuration modifications, troubleshooting, etc.) existing network infrastructures deployed across multiple network closets and sites.

Requirements:

• Three years of Cisco networking experience configuring, installing, and maintaining Cisco network infrastructure switching and routing platforms.
• Experience designing deploying and supporting common switching and routing technologies including ACLs, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP, routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, etc.), RSTP, Multicast Routing, QOS (classification and marking, shaping policing, queuing, etc.), VLANs, and VPNs (DMVPN, IPsec, GRE, etc.)
• Demonstratable troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of end-users/customers, internal and external third-party vendor teams, in person and by phone during deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Produce written technical plans and communicate them with various team members.
• The ability to function autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Provide timely documentation during course of work.
• Strong customer service skills – written, verbal, and onsite.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Ethical, honest, and responsible.
• Eagerness to consistently share and learn skills while developing personally and professionally.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Cisco CCNA and/or CCNP certifications
• Experience deploying and supporting Cisco security, wireless, and/or voice technologies
• Desire to work in teams with other engineers and coworkers
• Enjoy working with and helping end-users/customers
• Background supporting multiple customer environments
• Experience using ConnectWise or Autotask PSAs
• Hands-on experience supporting Cloud, Microsoft Server, VMware, and/or with SAN technologies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
