LCRA is looking for a motivated individual to join our panel fabrication team, that plays an important role in the electric utility industry of central Texas. As a panel fabricator, you will construct and wire transmission-related panels, sub panels and cabinets. Key Functions:

- Installs wiring in relay control, substation panels and cabinets according to blueprints.
- Ensures that all components and wiring are built to the exact engineering plans, standards and specifications.
- Inspects and maintains equipment in assigned work area.
- Maintains tools and equipment and a clean work area.
- Supports process improvement program and is encouraged to explore efficiency improvements.
- Completes work within budget and deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

Zero or more years of experience in construction, assembly or maintenance of relay and control panels or equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of electrical circuit theory.
- Skill in use of handheld manual and power tools.
- Basic skill in reading and interpreting diagrams and prints.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.29 - $25.00 per hour
