Job Responsibilities of the PMHNP:
- Working directly with the primary care group to serve the psych needs of our community to include full prescribing responsibilities and med management.
- Will need a broad spectrum of experience serving children to geriatric.
- Possible opportunity for hospital services integration however, this is not required at this time.
- Gauging patients' psychiatric states.
- Collaborating on psychiatric intervention plans.
- Administering psychotropic and similar medications.
- Monitoring adherence to non-medicinal treatment regimens.
- Removing potentially harmful and triggering environmental features.
- Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm.
- 4-5 day work week
Minimum Job Requirements for the PMHNP
- New Graduates will be considered
- Ties to the area
- Must be certified or scheduled to take the certification exam
- Experience or interest in rural health preferred
