Exciting Challenges
To work independently and with cross functional teams establishing production processes and machine requirements for materials and improve production productivity of current material pro-cesses.
Specific Responsibilities:
· Work with cross functional teams to review production needs and requirements for materials launching into production.
· Provide input on machine needs and requirements, including cost estimates, for new ma-chines required to produce materials for production requirements.
· For new materials being launched into production, help develop control plans, process flows, and process FMEA’s with cross functional teams.
· Provide process write-ups to R&D and operations so that new or existing production material processes can be established, updated, improved, or corrected so that a robust production process can be maintained.
· Run pre-production material trials on production or experimental equipment to evaluate and establish processes with R&D and production personnel.
· Work with and help train process engineers on how to run the new material processing equipment and work with process engineers to improve their skills for debugging process is-sues.
· Work independently, or with cross functional teams, to troubleshoot existing material pro-cesses causing production inefficiencies and provide direction for machine repair or process improvements so that rate attainment can be improved and scrap rate reduced.
· Support efforts of the company by participating on continuous improvement teams and pro-vide material process training to existing and new employees.
· Develop processes and control plans for running experimental and pre-production material trials.
· Able to work independently or as a member of a team.
· Maintain a safe and orderly work area.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
