Field Project Superintendent

Summary of Position:

We love “building” excitement, and we couldn’t do it without our amazing Superintendents. The Superintendent is directly responsible for all the construction activities on a project site. Additional responsibilities generally will include serving as the Quality Control Manager and Site Safety/Health Officer. Project Superintendents are responsible for scheduling and coordination of self-performed and subcontracted activities. The Superintendent will be responsible for orderliness on site and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. He/She will ensure quality standards are met, and all equipment and materials are always available on site. The key focus is on delivering and executing work in a positive, professional manner while maintaining the best customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the on-site Construction team to ensure all activities that occur on the project location are executed in accordance with required safety standards.
• Perform duties as Quality Control Manager and Site Safety/Health Officer as required .
• Oversee the scheduling and coordination of the project.
• Monitor all job site operations for compliance with contract requirements.
• Following the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate, detailed, written daily reports for each job. Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Project Superintendent in the commercial construction industry.
• 3 years of Government commercial building experience for USACE or NAVFAC.
• OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and Construction Quality Management Certifications.
• Willingness to travel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
