Lake Place in Chanhassen is a new luxurious community that celebrates life. This community was built to embrace activity and energy, while still creating spaces for rest and relaxation.

Lake Place seeks a Property Manager who will oversee functions, sales and marketing, staff, and budget of the community.

Schedule:

Part-time - 30 hours a week

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining correct and current tenant/community financial records according to regulatory standards in collaboration with Finance Department.
  • Maintain accurate tenant records.
  • Responsible for preparing the budget annually and ensuring adherence to budget standards.
  • Responsible for resident billing.
  • Work collaboratively with residents to enhance communication and sense of community.
  • Work to resolve concerns in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with residents via monthly newsletter and other means as needed.
  • Stay current on required training.
  • Responsible for supervision of the maintenance team members.
  • Monitor and provide ongoing coaching and feedback on performance, complete annual performance reviews, and hold team members accountable to performance expectations.
  • Lead the marketing and sales efforts of the community and all its programs to maintain competitive strength and to achieve full census.
  • Demonstrate creativity in generating ideas for prospects, family members, and referring entities to learn or experience the best elements of your community.
  • If assigned, implement Walker Methodist’s social media strategy to assure compliance, high quality execution, and identify new opportunities to leverage social media in support of the organization’s mission.
  • Maintain connections within the community to learn of new developments or product changes of competitors.
  • Maintain REPS software (or other relationship management software) to ensure that all customers are accurately entered into the database, follow up activities are assigned, and follow-up is completed.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate or Bachelors’ degree, preferably in human services, business administration, or related field.

Preferred Experience: One year management experience in health care, long-term care, assisted living or leasing/rental management. Previous experience managing a community. Previous experience has a housing manager.
