More information about Dashiell can be found at www.dashiell.com.We are currently seeking a Purchasing Administrator based out of our Raleigh office located at 11000 Regency Parkway, Suite 100, Cary, NC 27518.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As a member of the procurement team, the Purchasing Administrator I assists in the coordination of receipt, processing, and coding of invoices to ensure timely payments to vendors and receipt of materials to job sites. Assignments are supervised and are designed to further develop employee's job knowledge and abilities.
Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions:
- Learn and apply corporate standard procurement processes and procedures
- Process invoices daily and code with appropriate job and PO numbers
- Confirm that invoices possess the correct pricing, research any discrepancies and contact vendors to work through any issues
- Research and apply tax and freight charges to POs as necessary
- Collect and organize receivers from job sites, match to appropriate invoice and collect signatures for payment authorization
- Interact with Project Managers, Construction Managers, other Purchasing Department team members and the Accounting Department to ensure that all invoices are processed correctly and at the appropriate time.
- Maintain electronic files for all jobs
- Other duties as required
High School Diploma, or equivalent, is required. Associates degree in supply chain management, accounting, or business is preferred. Minimum of one year of experience in a purchasing related role is required.
Possess skills in the following areas:
- Basic understanding of how to use major office equipment
- Experience using MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Good organizational skills which include development of work plans and ability to multitask
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
